CONTEMPORARY TRAGEDY
In Search of Balance. In Search of Unity

This Manifesto Poetico’s Open Laboratory proposes a contemporary exploration of our human experience through the fundamental elements and aspects of Tragedy.
The idea is to embark on a journey toward balance—both individual and collective—guided by sensitivity and awareness. It is a search to integrate what has been fragmented over time: reason and emotion, body and mind, action and contemplation. A search that becomes an act of resistance, transformation, and renewal in a world in crisis.
On this journey, we are drawn to the collective voice that reflects on the multiple crises we face—ecological, social, emotional, and spiritual—amid a generalized unease and deep imbalance. A collective voice that expresses not only shared pain but also the urgent need for ethical and communal awareness.
It is a search for balance that allows us to recognize and give space to dimensions such as empathy, intuition, care, and a fuller experience of life. And in that, the pursuit of unity—of all that connects us as human beings, as living beings. Our shared capacity and condition to be sensitive, moving toward a common consciousness that transforms how we live, relate, and inhabit the world.
A search for balance and unity that allows us to remember—and from listening—begin to build a more compassionate culture.
Contemporary Tragedy: In Search of Balance. In Search of Unity Research will be done through the lens of Spatial Dramaturgy, the Manifesto Poetico theatrical language that utilizes the dynamics of space as a way for poetic storytelling; allowing the embodiment of emotional and spiritual narratives, to explore a Contemporary Tragedy.
